Open Gym – Volleyball open gym at the OLA gym starting Thursday, April 19th from 6:00 – 7:15pm. We will have open gym through the end of May with potential to continue in June if there are girls interested. The open gym will consist of 45 minutes of drills followed by scrimmages. This is open to all rising 5th through 8th grade (current 8th grade as well). If you have questions, please contact susie.richerson@gmail.com. Volleyball Registration begins now – 2012 rising 5th – 8th grade Girls. If you register by May 31st, the cost is $110.00. If you register by June 15th, the cost is $130.00. We will not be able to accept registrations beyond June 15th due to the fact that the season starts as soon as we are back in school. The first ever OLA 3 v. 3 tournament is coming.
3v3 Soccer is a variety of soccer played between two teams. Each team may only have 3 players on the field at a time. The field used is smaller than a regulation soccer pitch, instead it typically is 30 yards wide by 40 yards long.
We plan to have teams for those children entering 3rd grade 4th, 5th and 6h grades. Teams of 4, each team makes up their own roster and name.
Boys will have one division, girls another. We’ll have a ‘rec’ and a competitive set of divisions if needed.
Games are only 30 minutes, and each team will have 3 guaranteed games. Top two play in a one game final, and medals for all finalists!
Stay tuned… team price is only $50, and we will have limits of 8 teams per classification.

The OLA Sports Council is the governing council for all sports at OLA. Our next to last meeting of this academic year will be held on April 15, 2012 at Moylan Hall.
We need you. Currently we are seeking volunteers for Basketball for 2012-2013, Soccer for Fall 2012, and for future sports like Tennis.
